I grew up in a military family, the middle child with two sisters and an older brother. Because we were constantly moving while our father served our country, my sisters and I often found ourselves playing with every little girl’s favorite toy: Barbie. We spent countless hours dressing, undressing and creating new outfits for our dolls.

As I matured, I took that passion for fashion and turned it into a business. First, I made and created my own custom gowns. Over time, I progressed and grew my business to build my own 15,000 square foot Bridal Boutique with high-end designers (and the price tags to match).

In 2015, I needed to make a change. I closed my store and sold the building – I knew that there were thousands of brides in my area that wanted more. They wanted designers. They wanted luxury. They wanted their – perfect – wedding gown, and they wanted to pay less.

I knew from my 20-plus years in the industry that every designer, store, and boutique has dozens of dresses they no longer want; dresses that are still in style, by amazing designers but for whatever reason no longer fit in their store. Thus, “Say Yes For Less” was born.
